It’s already been a week since that epic and truly incredible Antonio Conte rant, after Tottenham managed to throw away a 3-1 lead against Southampton and draw 3-3.
Seven days. 168 hours. 10,080 minutes.
All of that time, and still Spurs fans are none the wiser as to whether chairman Daniel Levy is actually going to relieve the Italian of his duties or not.
It’s a situation that is so typically Tottenham. The dilly dallying, the failure to make a quick decision and the issues that follow as a result.
"You only do this. Excuses for the players!" ?
An EXTRAORDINARY rant from a very unhappy Antonio Conte ?? pic.twitter.com/Uy2MGveYXL

Where is the leadership and the drive from the top? Precisely the sort of things that Conte himself was talking about.
How all those at White Hart Lane just bumble along accepting things as they are because it’s the way it’s always been at Tottenham.
If the north Londoners really do believe that they are an elite Premier League club, then they need to start acting like one, and that means from the very top down.
Being ‘Spursy’ has become a byword for failure and that should be getting under the skin of every single player, coach and employee.
Conte spoke about responsibility and things not being acceptable.
It’s time Levy or whomever else may play a part in the decision making process grabs this particular situation by the scruff of the neck and makes it abundantly clear if Conte has a future at the club or not.
If he hasn’t, then a new incumbent needs to be in place by the time any Conte announcement is made.
Maybe Conte wants family time after the three bereavements he has suffered? Maybe Levy wants to wait till Conte returns to actually talk, like humans, face to face. Just a thought amidst all the kneejerk accusations…..
Well said Crab..
Nothing wrong with a bit of respect being shown…even if Conte showed us none last week at the press conference we can still rise above it and show some sort of decency…which is in short supply these days…fair play to Daniel Levy..he gets a bad rap yet before he came on board we had a tired stadium and a mid table team..alot of our fans get ahead of themselves in the toughest league in the world. He’s done a great job for Tottenham, those that say otherwise have short memories..
Pathetically critical article. Spurs do move quickly when they need to ie Jose repacing Poch. There is no desperate need for a resolution ‘ yesterday ‘ with the current international break. Credit to the Board to work out the best resolution to a difficult situation caused by a manager who no longer can make it happen and so blames everyone else
What else do u expect levy n co don’t care about us while yous r all still going n putting bums in seats boycott everything spurs stop lining levy n Lewis pockets n watch them panic only way change n proper change not the fake crap levy lies about at end of each season wake up time or this is our future more crap if ur willing to keep spending ur cash for same crap year on year that’s on u so u can’t moan when hings go wrong as it does all the time
