As they prepare for a Europa League campaign to complement their domestic endeavours, West Ham need to get one or two more players in to beef up the squad.
David Moyes will know that a lack of investment in the transfer market will hinder what he’s trying to do with the east Londoners, and that would be a travesty given how far they’ve come under his stewardship.
It wasn’t that long ago that Moyes was a laughing stock, but his second spell has been hugely successful and the Hammers could well be on the cusp of further success.
However, the club have been desperately quiet in the summer window, and with less than a fortnight left, there’s hardly any time to bring players of quality in.
There could be some good news just around the corner though, as reports suggest the club are tracking Montpellier’s Gaetan Laborde according to Foot Mercato, cited by Hammers News.
At an apparent fee of £11m, it’s a bargain that West Ham would be mad to turn down, particularly as his strike rate of one in just over every two games is just what the club are looking for.
It’s no wonder that fans of the club are keen to see the player put pen to paper.

Ain’t sure about the fella just no that we need 3 or 4 players to help push on from last season either a couple of defenders with a midfielder and a striker or 1 defender and 2 midfielders and a striker I also think we should use a few of our young players start bleeding them in according to reports we have some promising players coming through so let’s get them in and see what happens ⚒🏴⚒WHUFC⚒🏴⚒
